The BlackFox Metroplis in Art Deco style is not by chance reminiscent of the silent film classic by Fritz Lang. The ray structure of the G10 handle scales and the geometric surfaces of the satin-finished blade made of 440C steel speak the clear language of the Golden Twenties. A flat integrated flipper and an inconspicuous linerlock round off the elegant overall appearance. A tip-up clip on the right side increases the suitability for everyday use.

My favorite knife

I have been collecting knives for over 40 years. My previous every day carry knife was a Benchmade….after leaving it in my Mothers attic, while doing the semi-annual filter change, I looked at several knives at my local dealer. I told him that I needed a new everyday carry knife that wasn’t so nice…that I was afraid to use it. I was immediately impressed with the action of the BlackFox. With the price point, I wasn’t afraid to use it…and potentially mess it up. I have been so happy with this knife. The action is perfect. It feels like an extension of my body. The handle is very comfortable. The shape and length of it allows me to make precision cuts. Sometimes those precision cuts are wiring or other construction related tasks…whatever the use, this knife has been in my pocket every day for close to a year. I truly love this knife.
