The particularly slim configuration with 3/8" blade is primarily suited for trimming contours and shaving by an experienced user. The slim, elongated blade radiates a special elegance with its slightly hollow-ground, e.g. inwardly bowed back. It allows easy "maneuvering" in problematic areas and thus enables a very close shave, which is additionally supported by the straight downward taper of the blade end of the French head. The scales are crafted from black celluloid, while the blade consists of particularly fine-grained carbon steel, which is non-stainless and continues to be the material of choice for straight razors. Fully handcrafted in the Solingen-based Boker knife manufactory. Shipped with authenticity certificate and in historical packaging.
