In combination with the more than 100 years of history of premium straight razors from Boker, the fascination invoked by damascus steel represents an absolute highlight of our collection. The special exclusivity is created by processing powdered metal stainless damascus steel - a truly unique feature on a straight razor. 180 layers of damascus steel are crafted in a technologically highly demanding and complex sintering process to create this superb raw material for a fine hand-ground blade. The traditional hollow grind brings out the beautiful, fine grain of the natural damascus pattern to perfection. The elegantly dark shimmering damascus blade was crafted with the most sophisticated technologies and beautifully harmonizes with the handle scales made from select ebony wood. The dark hues and fine grain of the premium wood accentuate the elegance and noble appeal of this unique work of craftsmanship. The historical Boker tree logo inlay is handcrafted into the handle scale as an embellishment with a level of craftsmanship difficult to find nowadays. This new Boker damascus straight razor model is completely handcrafted in 150 processing steps by the Boker knife manufactory in Solingen. By optimizing our manufacturing processes, we were also able to reduce the manufacturing costs for this elaborate blade, a benefit we are happy to pass on to our customers. Shipped with authenticity certificate and in a premium wooden presentation box.
