With the noble Gentleman folder by Wilfried Gorski we go one step further and for the first time offer a pocket knife made entirely of forged stainless Damascus. Chad Nichols from Mississippi in the USA is best known for the extremely high quality and corrosion resistance of the Damascus steel he forges. So his blades are not only a feast for the eyes, but also suitable for everyday use.
In order to be able to give the Boker Special Run Merlin Damascus the title "100 % Damascus", we spared no effort, which is why not only the handle scales and blade are made of Damascus, but also the distance piece in the back of the handle and the safety slide of the blade lock.
The noble pocket knife, designed by the Solingen knife maker, represents a further milestone in the series of exclusive collector's knives from the Boker Knife Manufactory Solingen. The delivery takes place with certificate of authenticity in a high-quality and innovative gift packaging. The knife is manufactured in two series, each limited to 199 pieces, one for Europe and one for the USA. Each knife is provided with a correspondingly coded serial number.
Wilfried Gorski from Solingen, a trained engraver and industrial designer, was led by an article about Custom Knives in the USA to the Knife Making. Since 1985 he has been active as a Knife Maker, and only a year later he became a member of the German Knife Makers Guild. Wilfried Gorski specializes in Pocketknives, has received several awards and has patents on specially developed locking mechanisms.
