Water Stones

Traditional water stone grinding requires some practice but is very popular with sophisticated users today. Conventional knife sharpening with Japanese or Belgian stones has a long tradition and offers excellent results. Unlike the oil stone, the water stone does produce grinding sludge, which is essential for the actual grind.
