However, modern pocket knives no longer necessarily need additional blades, as the main blade can easily handle all the work involved in everyday urban life thanks to the significantly improved steel quality compared to the past. The Boker Cattle Knife is a full-blown slipjoint pocket knife for everyday use, equipped with a blade made of N690 in a historical blade shape. A tight spring holds the blade when open as well as at 90 degrees. The long nail haft, also called the long pull, is finely serrated, allowing suitable matches to be lit.
