The legendary Asgard has opened its gates specifically for Boker and granted Dirk Hofmeister of Midgard's knives magical insights into the world of the gods, glorious warriors and loving craftsmanship. Back on earth, the knife designer from Lake Constance has nothing less than concentrated Viking power in XL format in his luggage. The popular URD gets a fully-grown variant with an awesome Wharncliffe blade made of mythical D2 steel, as it can only come from the legendary Northmen. A satin finish, hollows on both sides and Nordic-style openings decorate the 5.6 mm thick blade and make the URD XL, which has a full tang construction, the perfect cutting tool for everyday use. The jimpings on the back of the blade merge into the milled handle scales* made of reddish-black G10 and ensure uncompromising stability as well as a secure grip. The fixed blade comes with a custom-fit Kydex sheath and a handsome belt adapter - who needs a horned helmet and full beard?

* Other handle scales in a wide variety of shapes and colours can be downloaded directly from us as a file for the home 3D printer or custom-made at Midgard's Knives.

The German family-owned company Midgards Messer, led by custom knifemaker Dirk Hofmeister, combines Nordic mythology with modern outdoor knives and innovative customization options.
