I own an El Gigante, it’s a truly beautiful knife.

The El Gigante is a great knife for bushcraft and field use. It’s a solid N695 Steel full tang knife and the stippled grip fits great in the hand for someone with large hands. Overall I highly recommend this knife for most duties in the outdoors, I’ve cut small trees down with it, Gently carved wood with it and it holds a great edge for a long time. The leather sheathe is ornate with basket weave stamping, the stitching is masterfully done up and even after lots of use it has not lost a single thread. The belt loop gives you the ability to wear it hanging from a swivel; a direct attachment to your belt with very high quality snaps, it even has a riveted tongue to tie a lace around your thigh to stabilize the movement of the sheathe. In conclusion I have never made a better investment on a field knife, it has served me for 3 years now and I expect for many more to come.
