With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Assisted Copper the American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements down-to-earth in solid everyday knives. Features and the straightforward design bear witness to its high practical suitability and give the knife an ideal basis for everyday cutting work. The ball-bearing Harpoon blade made of D2 has a stonewash finish and opens with spring support via flipper or thumb stud. The blade is secured by a robust stainless steel linerlock. The copper handle fits securely in the hand in terms of shape and weight and shows a characteristic patina after only a short time. With lanyard hole, clip (tip-up/r) and high-quality nylon case for storage.

Quite possibly the perfect knife.

I have to say this may be the sexiest knife I own now. I have many different ones and this is my first Boker. This thing has some heft to it and you can definitely tell the difference between it and a Kershaw. The action is solid and locks back with a convincing thunk. A well-balanced meat to it and just a great overall size that doesn't feel heavy in your pocket but you certainly know when you're holding it. The clip holds tightly to my pocket and doesn't slip out due to the deep carry. Razor sharp out of the package and comes with a very nice case. You will not be disappointed, I promise. I can NOT wait for the patina to show up on this solid metal knife. I love it so much that I talked 2 of my friends into getting this same knife already. 12/10 recommend.
