With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon, American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally refers to the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley translates into a solid, no-nonsense everyday knife. Its features and straightforward design highlight high practical utility, giving the knife an ideal foundation for daily cutting tasks, along with an excellent price-performance ratio. The drop point blade, crafted from D2 steel with a black stonewash finish, opens effortlessly on ball bearings via the removable ambidextrous thumb stud, while the crossbar lock ensures intuitive, safe, and practical blade release. The brown Micarta handle adds a tactical touch to the Kihon’s overall appearance. Equipped with a lanyard hole and a reversible tip-up wire clip for flexible carry options.
