Minimalist design, robust full-metal construction, and a high-quality powder metallurgy blade steel: the Boker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean combines the distinctive design language of US knifemaker Lucas Burnley with a configuration focused on EDC, outdoor use, and versatile cutting tasks. As a fixed-blade skeleton knife, neck knife, and hanging knife, this all-metal knife offers functional construction and flexible carry options.

The drop-point blade made from Elmax SuperClean with a Rockwell hardness of HRC 59 is aimed at users looking for a premium combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Elmax SuperClean is a powder metallurgy stainless high-performance steel from Uddeholm. Powder metallurgy creates a highly homogeneous microstructure with a fine and consistent distribution of carbides. This allows Elmax to combine high wear resistance with notably good toughness for a stainless high-performance steel.

One of its key strengths is the balanced combination of wear resistance and toughness. Its relatively high carbon and chromium content supports hardness and corrosion resistance, while vanadium and molybdenum contribute to the formation of wear-resistant carbides. At the same time, the fine powder metallurgy microstructure helps maintain cutting-edge stability. At HRC 59, the blade is tuned toward a practical balance of hardness, edge retention, and toughness.

Elmax SuperClean is therefore particularly well suited to users who want a high-performance premium knife steel for versatile applications. Compared with conventional stainless knife steels, Elmax places greater emphasis on wear resistance without unnecessarily sacrificing toughness or corrosion resistance. This makes it especially appealing for a compact fixed-blade EDC knife intended to deliver reliable cutting performance during regular use.

The open full-metal skeleton construction emphasizes the minimalist character of the BFF Packlite while allowing different grip positions. Jimping along the spine helps improve control during precise cutting tasks. The fitted Kydex sheath with ball chain allows flexible neck or hanging carry and complements the versatile EDC configuration.

Whether used as an EDC knife, neck knife, outdoor knife, or compact backup knife, the Boker BFF Packlite Elmax SuperClean is aimed at users who prefer a modern high-performance steel with high wear resistance, good toughness, and reliable corrosion resistance. The combination of Elmax SuperClean at HRC 59, Lucas Burnley design, full-metal construction, and Kydex sheath makes this fixed-blade knife a capable companion for everyday and outdoor use.
