Agile, fast, and adaptable—the Boker Plus The Dace is another standout catch from designer and passionate fisherman Joe Mangiafico, creator of the Canoe and The Brook. Inspired by the sleek silhouette of the dace (hazel) fish, this nimble pocketknife translates natural efficiency into a compact, everyday-carry design.
Perfectly at home in hard-use EDC territory, The Dace thrives on tasks like cardboard, rope, and packaging, while still offering the finesse needed for food prep. The ball-bearing Nitro-V drop-point blade delivers excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, snapping into action with the flipper. A discreet liner lock is integrated into the flattened handle made from gray 6061-T6 aluminum.
Iridescent blue anodized accents—including the tip-up pocket clip (r), blade pivot screw, and handle screws—add a distinctive visual highlight. A rugged stonewash finish, non-slip jimping on the blade spine, and a decorative ricasso elevate both aesthetics and performance.
Product Highlights:
- Ball-bearing drop-point blade made from Nitro-V steel, offering excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance.
- Flipper mechanism for smooth, fast opening.
- Liner-lock mechanism for secure blade locking.
- Grey 6061-T6 aluminium handle with ergonomic design for a comfortable grip.
- Iridescent blue anodised elements: tip-up clip (r), pivot screw, and handle screws for a special touch.
- Stonewash finish on the blade, with non-slip jimping for enhanced control.
- Decorative ricasso adds to the knife’s aesthetic appeal.
