As the daughter of Zeus and Themis, Atropos was the eldest of the three Fates in Greek mythology-she who cut the thread of life and sealed every destiny. Inspired by this powerful figure, American knife designer Chuck Gedraitis takes fate into his own hands with the Boker Plus Atropos, a tactical folder shaped by legendary lineage and modern intent.
Drawing from Rex Applegate’s iconic tactical designs, the Atropos embodies clean symmetry from tip to tail, expressed in its single-edged VG-10 dagger blade and its ergonomic light-brown Micarta handle. Subtle yet deliberate details-an elegant ricasso along the spine, a discreet stonewash finish, a refined parrying-element silhouette and elongated handle recesses-signal a thoroughly developed tactical concept adapted for everyday carry.
Riding on smooth ball bearings, the blade deploys intuitively via a removable thumb stud and locks firmly with a reliable linerlock. Completing the package are a tip-up pocket clip (r) and a premium nylon sheath.
