Named in reference to the HK MP7 and its Personal Defence Weapon concept, the knife adopts key characteristics of the firearm, including secure ergonomics, effective texturing, dependable handling, and robust construction.
Its black-coated spearpoint blade is crafted from Swedish 14C28N steel, enriched with manganese and nitrogen for excellent hardness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The fine microstructure ensures high resilience against shock and breakage, while also allowing the blade to be resharpened with ease. The full tang runs through the entire handle and is visible in the lanyard hole, yet remains shielded at the end so pressure or light strikes can be applied safely.
The one-piece molded handle made from fiberglass-reinforced nylon offers outstanding durability and a secure grip in all conditions. A modular Kydex-based carry system completes the design, providing deep, secure retention without the need for secondary fasteners. Depending on the task, users can attach either the robust nylon belt loop or a MOLLE-compatible steel clip. The result is a highly adaptable duty knife engineered for real-world performance across military, tactical, and outdoor environments.
