Excellent Little Fixed Blade

Another Excellent knife and sheath package from Boker! Nice slim leather sheath with good quality leather. Looks great, has a lot of class to it. Takes a real fine edge, holds it well. Very "slicey" knife. Have used it a lot with food and washing it, no issues with any rust or spotting. Great affordable knife option to carry for those of us moving away from folders and carrying fixed blades daily. Hollow grind, wouldn't go crazy beating on it batoning wood but I'm sure it could handle some light work like that for making fine tinder. Spine is 90 degrees, not overly sharp for striking ferro rods, but it is capable of it. Had this on me when a Trail Life Scout leader wanted to show the troop how to start a fire with a just a ferro rod and I was the only one who had one readily available at the time. Made some fine shavings with the spine and a few feather sticks to get the fire started, worked fine. A couple of the parents loved the knife, I made sure to tell them who made it and where to find it! Definitely one of my favorites.
